Designed specifically for oil pastels and mixed media artwork, this 9" x 12" paper pad features thick 140lb/300gsm acid-free paper with a fine, durable surface. The paper resists aging and yellowing, helping preserve artwork over time.
Fine Texture for Smooth Blending & Layering
The carefully textured surface provides excellent grip for oil pastels, allowing colors to blend smoothly and build rich layers without excessive slipping or clumping. It is suitable for detailed drawings, bold applications, shading, and textured pastel techniques.
Built-In Tracing Paper for Artwork Protection
Each sheet includes an oil-resistant tracing paper layer to help protect finished artwork during storage and prevent unwanted transfer between pages. The protective layer does not interfere with the paper's ability to absorb and hold color.
Spiral Bound & Easy to Tear
The twin-wire spiral binding allows the pad to open flat for comfortable painting and sketching. Perforated pages can be removed cleanly when you want to frame, display, submit, or store finished artwork.
