This is a great and beautiful product, although mine arrived with some deep scratches on one of the pieces, which upset me. The wood is very soft, which may make it susceptible to scratches. Assembly took me a long time - you need to be patient as it requires careful attention for about an hour. However, once assembled, it functions well and its gorgeous. Be careful when selecting the color of your Meeden products, as there is confusion regarding the Walnut color. They offer two different tones of Walnut depending on the product line, and some customers return items because of this. This one matches the Walnut stool (the lighter Walnut, not the reddish one).

Love this easel. The wood quality, the horizontal position option. I just have a small comment about the floor fix knobs. The black plastic handles break like if it was made of thin glass. I had to remove them.

I love this easel so much. I’ve previously used a lighter weight floor easel as well as a traveling French easel from Meeden both of which I liked a lot. I upgraded for the swivel-to-flat feature and am really surprised by how much I also appreciate the deeper supply tray and overall increased ease of use. I didn’t think wheels would matter but that’s another thing I am thrilled by!
