MEEDEN Extra Large Heavy Duty Artist Easel Stand-W11

I went from a three legged easel that was always falling over to this beautiful large sturdy easel. I chose it because of the easy way to raise and lower the platform. It works wonderfully. However it is very tall when raised up and I have to watch my ceiling fan. Also it was a bear to assemble. The directions are little pictures with no words to explain anything. The pictures are so small that the detail is hard to decipher.

This is my second MEEDEN easel purchase and I am very pleased with my new Extra Large Heavy Duty Artist Easel Stand-W1. It is beautifully designed sturdy and relatively easy to assemble solo. Got my first painting in progress up on it and excited to use it more!

It all started with little disappointment after placing my order due to email miscommunication on my part. I decided to cancel my order and Meeden immediately issued a full refund. As I explained the misunderstanding via email Meeden actually offered me a discount plus a $20 gift card to use toward my purchase in addition the free shipping which was an offer I couldn't refuse. The fact that the company was willing to do whatever it takes to win my business and make me happy as a customer was a key influencer in making my purchase decision needless to say that the product was a very good quality as well delivered on time packaged well and the instructions to install it were very easy to follow . Although this was my first experience with Meeden I can tell you that they got me as a customer forever. I can’t express enough my satisfaction with my new heavy duty extra large easel it doesn’t just function well but it even looks very nice with the rest of my furniture. I highly recommend this product for its quality and this company to do business with… I just couldn’t be happier… thank you

This easel is the ideal combo of vertical and horizontal orientation perfect and super practical for working in both positions! It’s the best easel I have owned in my 60 years as a visual artist ! Varonfinearts

I took my time before I decided on which new easel to buy but I finally chose this one because of the 90 degree folding feature as well as the wheels.
I cannot tell you how INCREDIBLE this easel is! It is absolutely beautiful and solid! I am so glad that I chose this easel especially because of the wheels. This easel is built to last! Every single part of it is solid as a rock. . . the wheels are heavy duty not cheap plastic casters. It rolls beautifully. My only regret is that I did not purchase this easel years ago. For the money you will not find a better deal than this - or even come close. I have compared many different brands and this ranks at the top for quality beauty functionality etc.
The single only drawback was the assembly. . . although it was easy to follow and well-marked it is easy to put things on backwards or upside down without realizing it (which I did). . . which required taking it apart and rebuilding it. Hey. I never claimed to be a carpenter so. . .
All in all if you are looking for a new easel look no further. This is as good if not better than others five times the cost. You will not be disappointed!

First I want to comment on the fact that this took my roughly 45 minutes to assemble and I wasn't hurrying. . .
Next the instructions are VERY easy to follow and the diagrams are not blurry or confusing.
All of the pieces were labeled with small stickers and each bag of hardware was labeled with large printed letters.
I have never had an easel before and while I could see myself using this horizontally as much as vertically it still frees up my table and counter spaces which is going to be great!
In case this was not asked/answered in the description questions the easel is 35" in height when in the horizontal position; my 2-inch canvas in the photos was right at 37".
Also just as a scale reference the canvas in the photos is 36" x 24".
This is a well-made product; it is very sturdy and I have no doubt it's going to easily handle and secure my 36" x 48" canvases. I absolutely love that this is on casters and is very easy to move around.
I am extremely happy with this purchase!!

Just assembled my new Meeden easel! 42lb package each piece carefully wrapped to protect the beautiful wood. Everything was clearly marked and easy for me to put together myself on my 69th birthday :wink:. All tools were included which was a surprise. It glides on the floor and is so easy to adjust. Can’t wait to get paint on it and break it in!

Very solid. . love the beechwood from Deutchland! Can accommodate large canvases and tilts 90 degrees for varnishing! A little tricky to assemble but not bad. Wheels are also pretty heavy duty and lock! If you want something very decent and not crazy money great investment!

I am so happy with this product and this company. Great communication and fast delivery time. I read reviews that said self assembly was difficult but I didn’t find it difficult at all as every single item was numbered even the screws and the instructions were very clear. I am soooo impressed with the quality and build. I love it and started using it immediately. Would definitely recommend 100% Thank you

This easel is brilliant for a fraction of the cost of a Mabef. Took one and a half hours to assemble but instruction diagrams were pretty clear and its well worth the effort. Im using this easel to replace a Riot easel of much poorer quality and function.

This was my first easel purchase, and Meeden was recommended by my painting instructor. I am 60 and was not able to lift the box by myself, so my son helped me.

The design and quality are clearly there, and I am glad that I waited and did not buy a lower quality easel locally.

This is one solid easel - It is much more than I realized when I purchased it - and truthfuly probably more than I need - but I do love it for its quality and who knows what the future holds! I did want an easel and boy did I get one!

The easel & hardware are first class. The instructions were very clear & well written. So happy with this purchase.

Well made, sturdy, and versatile. It would be a 5 star review, but a piece arrived broken. I contacted customer support, and they were quick to respond, but the replacement piece never arrived. Fortunately, it wasn't structurally necessary.

I will give it a 5 after I receive a new tray. It came with a crack in it. I was promised you will make it right and I’m counting on that. I haven’t received a replacement yet.

solid and big enough to fit my biggest paintings. plenty of adjustments for how I want to work; vertical, angled or full horizontal. My easel already has a nice layer of excess paint and stickers. love it.

High quality, Very sturdy, not difficult to put together. Efficiency on order process and shipping. The price is reasonable.
