I teach oil painting classes. Some of the easels I had for my students were kinda flimsy and embarrassing. I wanted quality for my students. I was nervous to purchase these because they are pretty inexpensive as easels go but my budget was tight so I went ahead and purchased 5. I am relieved to report that they are such good quality. Once I put one together the rest went to together quickly. They are sturdy and easy to raise and lower. I also like the feature that tilts your painting forward if needed. My students love them. I am surprised they were so inexpensive. I have other Meeden easels that I have had for a long time, so I expect them to be durable for years to come. I am so grateful!

Love this easel. Way more economical than so many easels out there and amazing quality. I picked this one out for my smaller space- I paint in my bedroom and have a really organized space so I wanted a lighter but still sturdy option that I could lean against the wall and tuck behind the door when I'm not using it. It's perfect. Customer service 10/10 too. The supplies and instructions were beautifully laid out and putting it together was easy. Took about thirty minutes and I was good to go. When I get a bigger space I'll be purchasing Meeden's H-Frame easel too!

Easy instructions for assembling. Did take me a while though as you cannot miss any steps . I put the centre rod upside down , luckily it was easy to slip out to adjust correctly , as I had passed that step already . The quality of wood is exceptional . It is solid and sturdy , well crafted easel . Absolutely love my new art accessory. Highly recommend it .

Easy to construct, and a great success so far!
I bought this on the recommendation of another weaver who uses it to hold their 6 foot rectangle continuous strand loom. It works VERY WELL keeping the loom straight and secure.
Speedy quick delivery and very sturdy.
The easel is a beautiful piece of equipment. It is very well made and the design works well. It arrived quickly by post and the assembly instructions were clear - two screwdrivers were even included so it was put together in no time. I am a huge fan of Meeden products!
Easy to install alone (I am 83) except for spring at the final stage. Took two people to install the spring.
It is nice and sturdy. Doesn't wobble. My last one (not Meeden) was very wobbly.
