I bought this for water coloring but have increasingly grown to use it daily also for rinsing my dip pens (I practice calligraphy daily) and also for cleaning brushes after using gesso or matte medium. I find myself having to clean and refill this daily now!
I love that this paint brush wash bowl has two reservoirs so I have one side for cleaning off my dirty brush and the other side is reserved for washes (adding clean water to a page).

The bowl I received is a little larger than described mine is 6. 75 x 4. 5 inches length and width 3. 5 inches high.
Each bowl can easily handle a 2 inch brush (as in the image).
The design is very sturdy not likely to get moved about or knocked over.
I like it and it looks quite nice always reminding me to change the rinse water before it messes up the color.

I love the ceramic wash bowl. It's sturdy so not easily knocked over. Easy to clean. It is a little heavy so when you need to change the water, make sure you only carry one item, the wash bowl.

This is a great product especially when you have limited space to work. Allows good sized cleaning water and clean water in one handy container. The porcelain means the brush washer sits firm on the surface and doesn't move about and it is easy to clean. Made with the same care and attention that goes into all of Meeden's products.

Love love love my Watercolor Ceramic Brush Wash Bowl! Have no idea what took me so long to get one but glad I finally did. It is a nice heavy piece so not easy to knock over. It has big wells which is so great for me as I was always cleaning my brushes in the rinse water instead of cleaning water and vice versa....not now! Great Product Meeden!
