This lightweight setup is perfect for a simple plein air day. I’ve used it in a light breeze and it was fine as long as I hung my bag from the tripod. I wouldn’t take this on a rugged trip although it might be fine. It’s a good value for the money.

Always needing a lighter weight Plein Air setup for my gouache/watercolor paintings! Yesterday I took it to a State Park in the mountains and painted a lovely 8 x 8 gouache painting! Price point very affordable! I think you will be pleased..order now!

I'm mixing my gouache paint directly on the tray provided. Works great the set up is very easy (clean up is too) and it is lightweight enough to move around wherever I want to paint. I'll see how it does outside someday but for now it is worth every cent for the ease of working with it indoors.

I'll be getting a lot of use out this little field easel. The price is right. It's easy and quick to assemble and take apart. I carry it in a canvas bag. But it easily fits in my backpack too. The white palette is very steady. I like the option of being able to mix paint on it or set my palette on it. Cup holder's a plus. It suits my plein air needs perfectly!

This easel is perfect for my small space in my art area. I am able to move it easily wherever I want and have no issues with it at all. The easel itself is very light weight but may be an issue outside in a windy setting. The easel has a 3 way brace that you could put something heavy on it to secure it outside in the wind. I love the fact I am able to tilt the top flat and the shelf is a must have for holding my palette and brushes and water. Great item!

I really like everything about my Easel! I am traveling and this set up in a couple minutes. Light so I hang a bottle of water off center bars. Can set legs to balance. So HAPPY with my easel!

This was very easy to set up Ulta light. Compact easel fits easily into my painting bag. The top and plastic shelf fits nicely in my bag as well and are both very sturdy. I love you can adjust the top part for watercolor. The shelf does a great job holding my painting palette and water. The thing I noticed the top is a little wobbly so best not to over load. But a 12x15 watercolor pad works fine. The easel is light weight so heavy winds could be problematic I figured hanging my small cooler bag with a few water bottles will help with that. Other possible problem nobs and levers and top latch are all plastic. So important to be gentle with these when adjusting. I noticed too the protective cap looks like you could put a small camera on it as you can see the screw on top. I have not tried that. So overall I recommend for the price it's a great entry level easel to see if you enjoy plein air watercolor. Not recommended for any thing using large panels. I look forward to to using this outside and inside as well.

Lightweight, for me, I can carry it in a carry on. The plastic flats are a bit heavy, but the ability to work low and flatter is what I needed. To keep it down in the wind you can hang a bottle or whatever to hold it steady.

I found the easel easy to erect however the white stand for the board is a bit wobbly. The instructions weren’t detailed enough. I’d appreciate some feedback on how to make it sturdier for the art biard

The whole set up for easily in my backpack along with my painting supplies. It was very light weight and easy to carry a couple of miles to the lake where I was going to be painting for the day. I was so excited I bought a second one for my friend who I paint with.

For water-based paint, I have everything I need for setting up. The easel is lightweight and the palette is integrated into the design. Quick set-up too.

Very nice easel set up . Great value for money especially as it was on sale. The tray is a useful size and the tripod light enough to put in my backpack. I have already used it and will probably use it for painting outdoors with my other mediums also.

Lightweight well made and easily packs up! Fits in perfectly on my desk or next to my desk. Legs are easy to adjust. All my watercolors brushes and water cup fit conveniently on the shelf. Would definitely recommend to the artist who likes their easel to easily move around at home or traveling!
