It's a beautiful chair and happy with the colour and structure. It was just what I wanted however it arrive with dents in the wood from shipping. I couldn't find my email invoice to raise the issue so I'm mentioning this now through the review. Can submit photos if required

Well crafted and heavy duty. Just needs a Meeden sponsored cushion.

First, unless it is specified as such, it does come in a flat pack. I am NO carpenter. I did have a local carpenter assemble it. If you are not good at this sort of thing, then assembling furniture so that it is correctly oriented with the right horizontal and vertical angles can be difficult.

Bought this to go with the easel I purchased. Very simple assembly and goes from box to ready to use in 5 minutes. Sits well and looks nice in my formal dining room. The walnut finish is true to form and as described unlike the easel I bought that was supposed to be a “walnut finish.” Pleased overall with my purchase but don’t know how prolonged sitting will be with this stool. I hope to get many years of use out of this stool - I hope it will hold up.
