I love these brushes! They hold a lot of paint and release it in a controlled, even manner. Even with a thick brush, it’s easy to create thinner lines. I’m a beginner, and my advice to others is that these brushes are worth the investment! A high-quality brush makes a world of difference and makes learning so much easier.

For my floral paintings, I’d reach for the larger brushes to lay in loose petals and backgrounds, then switch to a smaller one for stems and finishing touches\.

Am I the only one?.... Brushes are ok. I have issues with the wires. Every time I rinse the brush, droplets are held at the wires and ending up with too much water running down to the brush while using it... it drives me nuts. I will have to either shake the droplets off (splatter!) or carefully wipe them off, which frankly, I do not want to bother. Now I know not to buy brushes constructed like these.

Once you have tried these brushes, all other brushes feel inferior… or at least the ones I’ve tried previous to MEEDEN.

I bought 4 pcs set. Good quality.

These brushes are outstanding. They complete with and out pace all of my other expensive brushes. Such as my Rounds in Escoda Prado, Silvers, Black Velvet, Aqua Elite, Princeton Heritage, and all my existing Quills from the brands I noted. One brush did arrive very slightly damaged as the quill cover had separated a few outside hairs from the brush. I rewet that patch and hopefully the glue will help it reform. It took at least a week for the delivery. I give this purchase a 5 star review because the brushes are so good.

I saw a demo Leila was doing of a certain style of painting and she shared that she was working with these brushes. I liked the look of them, how they handled water and paint, so I ordered through her link. I am equally impressed! They hold a point, they rinse clean easily, the handle feels good in my hand. What’s not to like???

Without a doubt, the best watercolor brush for the money. I have spent the same amount for one brush of another brand twice now but reach for a Meeden's brush every time. They do not lose hairs, keep their shape during the paint process, hold an amazing amount of water/paint, have a dependable point, and are a comfortable length without taking up too much space for travel.

I really like Meeden products so thought I'd invest in some round, tapered brushes for some workshops i run. But I'm pretty disappointed with them -- they don't hold water that well if that's important to you, and the feeling of each stroke is not great compared to similar shaped brushes. Fine for beginners or children, but disappointed for the price point.

Very satisfied with the brushes. I used them for a month and there was no shedding of the body. I was also pleased to see no recoil spatter that happens with stiffer brushes. Thank you.

I absolutely love all the medeen products that I have purchased. The brushes hold water well,all the watercolor paints I have purchased are vibrant and creamy. I also purchased the big ceramic palette and I love love love it. I always recommend medeen products in all of my watercolor groups.

A fine brush

Fabulous brushes. They feel balanced in the hand and hold a lot of water. Very impressed with how fine the tip is for such a reasonable price. They feel and act like much more expensive brushes. They are the only brushes I reach for now.

I totally LOVE these brushes!!! They hold a lot of paint, so you can make long strokes without having to put the brush back in the paint. Also you can make fine lines with the tips, no problem! They are so beautiful, and I especially LOVE that they come in separate tubes, which makes them easy to transport for travel or plein air painting. I am so happy with them!
